Good Shepherd Food Pantry

Good Shepherd Food Pantry, also known as Shepherd's Pie Food Pantry, serves families in Magnolia, Kentucky and the surrounding LaRue County area. The nonprofit food pantry was founded when Bill and Fran Dowell noticed families in the community struggling with food insecurity and began distributing food from their home, eventually growing to serve hundreds of families weekly through its partnership with Magnolia Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The pantry operates as a community-supported nonprofit that relies on donated food sources and volunteers to provide fresh groceries and nutritional support to families in need across the region.
