St. John Food Pantry

St. John's Food Pantry is an outreach ministry of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Sunfish, Kentucky, serving the residents of Edmonson County. The food pantry, which opened in May 2016, serves low-income families, seniors, unemployed individuals, disabled veterans, and others in need, working with Feeding America and local churches to stock its shelves. The organization operates the pantry alongside a thrift store, both staffed entirely by volunteers, and has provided nearly $22,800 in assistance to residents over a three-year period.
