Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana

Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is a nonprofit organization serving as the primary resource for combating hunger across seven parishes in Northwest Louisiana. The organization distributes approximately 15 million pounds of donated food annually to low-income seniors, homeless individuals, families, and over 150 partner nonprofit organizations including churches and shelters. Beyond emergency food distribution, the food bank operates specialized programs including a BackPack Program for chronically hungry children and a Summer Food Service Program, while also maintaining a community garden and hydroponic growing station to provide fresh produce to the community.
