Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center – Food Pantry

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center's Community Cupboard, opened in April 2024 in partnership with Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, is a food pantry dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the Bangor community. The pantry supports healthy individuals and families by providing non-perishable food and has served more than 1,700 individuals since its opening. As part of Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center's broader commitment to community health, the pantry is open to patients, families, visitors, and staff, with ongoing support from medical center employees and community partners like Hannaford Supermarkets.
