Belfast Soup Kitchen

Belfast Soup Kitchen is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity across Waldo County, Maine. The organization provides nutritious hot meals, emergency food boxes, bread, produce, and pantry items to all guests without qualification, while also connecting individuals to resources and educational opportunities to address the underlying circumstances of food insecurity. As the only soup kitchen and food pantry in Waldo County open five days a week, Belfast Soup Kitchen serves working families, seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment that emphasizes dignity and respect.
