China Community Food Pantry

The China Community Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization founded nearly 30 years ago by Lee and Ann Austin to reduce food insecurity in central Maine. Operating from a location in China, the organization provides two programs: federal food assistance for China town residents and a community area program offering fresh produce, breads, and clothing to a wider service area. The pantry serves dozens of families weekly and operates through donations and volunteer support from the local community.
