Wayside Food Programs

Wayside Food Programs is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Maine dedicated to increasing access to food for residents in Southern Maine through food rescue operations, mobile pantries, and community meal programs. Founded in 1986, Wayside works as a central hub that collects surplus food and redistributes it to over 50 area pantries, soup kitchens, and service agencies while also operating community meals in partnership with local churches and community centers.
