China Community Food Pantry

China Community Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing food assistance to individuals and families in central Maine. Founded nearly 30 years ago by Lee and Ann Austin, the pantry serves a diverse community including low-income families, single parents, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, and disabled veterans throughout Kennebec County. The organization operates as a community-driven initiative where volunteers work alongside patrons who often give back after receiving assistance themselves.
