Standish Food Pantry

The Standish Food Pantry combats hunger and food insecurity in Standish and surrounding communities through a client-choice shopping model where patrons select items with no residency, income, or ID restrictions. Operated by 60 volunteers and serving approximately 360 people weekly, the pantry partners with organizations including Hannaford, Wayside Food Programs, and Good Shepherd Food Bank to provide diverse food options, and also offers specialized services such as senior boxes and a kids' corner with school snacks and easy-to-prepare meals.
