The Waterville Food Bank is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization founded in 1981 by the Waterville Area Interfaith Council of Faith Communities. Located at 61 Pleasant Street within the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church in Waterville, Maine, the food bank provides nutritious food assistance to neighbors in need, operating Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 11 AM and Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7 PM. As a Good Shepherd Food Bank partner and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) organization, the Waterville Food Bank distributes fresh and non-perishable foods including vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy, and pantry staples to Waterville residents, welcoming both food donations and volunteers dedicated to eradicating food insecurity in the community.
