Community Food Pantry

The Community Food Pantry, located in downtown Chestertown at First United Methodist Church, is a nonprofit organization serving Kent County residents facing food insecurity. The pantry provides supplemental food assistance including fresh produce, meats, eggs, dairy items, non-perishable foods, toiletries, and seasonal clothing items, with families able to receive 60 to 80 pounds of food depending on household size. Open to all Kent County residents without requiring referrals, the pantry welcomes clients to select their preferred items and is supported by community donations and volunteers dedicated to ending hunger in the region.
