SMILE Thrift Store and Food Pantry

SMILE Food Pantry and Thrift Store is a nonprofit ecumenical ministry serving southern Calvert County. Operating since 1988 and housed in its own Lusby facility since 2001, SMILE combines a thrift store featuring low-cost clothing and household items with a food pantry, with thrift store revenues supporting both the pantry and emergency assistance programs for utilities, rent, and other life necessities. The organization is supported by 11 local churches and serves residents throughout the region with food assistance and community support services.
