Nourish Now

Nourish Now is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Rockville, Maryland, dedicated to addressing food insecurity and reducing food waste simultaneously through food recovery. The organization collects surplus fresh food from restaurants, caterers, grocers, farms, and other donors throughout the Washington D.C. metro region, then redistributes it directly to families, children, seniors, and veterans in need, with a particular focus on serving Montgomery County. Through programs like Nourish Neighborhoods and Student Nutrition Access in Classes K-12 (S.N.A.C.K.), Nourish Now provides food assistance to thousands of individuals monthly while strengthening the local nonprofit food assistance sector.
