Amherst Survival Center Food Pantry

Since 1976, the Amherst Survival Center has served Franklin and Hampshire counties with free food assistance programs and other basic needs support. The organization operates a food pantry providing families with up to 14 days of groceries monthly, supplemented by fresh produce distributions, and receives support from the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, local farms, and community donors. The Amherst Survival Center serves more than 11,000 people annually through its pantry, community meals, warming center, and other services designed to address food insecurity and homelessness in the region.
