Hilltown Churches Food Pantry

The Hilltown Churches Food Pantry is a joint mission of five Hilltown churches providing free, confidential food assistance to anyone in need across eleven communities in the Pioneer Valley region. The pantry serves residents from Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Conway, Hawley, Heath, Monroe, Plainfield, Rowe, and Shelburne, with no income requirements or proof of residency needed. Located in the downstairs of the First Congregational Church in Ashfield, the pantry relies on donations and partnerships with the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts to stretch resources and serve approximately 600 people at each distribution event.
