St Anthony Shrine/Franciscan Food Center

The Franciscan Food Center, operated by St. Anthony Shrine, provides emergency food assistance to families facing food insecurity in downtown Boston. Founded in October 2008, the Food Center works in partnership with the Mayor's Office and the Greater Boston Food Bank to address food insecurity in the community as part of the Shrine's broader mission rooted in the Franciscan tradition of serving both spiritual and corporal needs.
