Saint James Helping Hands – Food Distribution Center

Saint James Helping Hands Food Pantry, operated by St. James Episcopal Church in Cambridge, is a free community food distribution center serving Cambridge and Somerville residents in need. The pantry distributes groceries including fresh, frozen, and packaged items, along with household cleaning and sanitary products, serving between 300 and 400 households monthly. Operating on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 1991 Massachusetts Avenue (near Porter Square), the pantry welcomes low-income families, senior citizens, unemployed individuals, and unhoused people, requiring only proof of residency from Cambridge or Somerville.
