Shane Gives Thanks Inc Food Pantry

Shane Gives Thanks Inc is a nonprofit food pantry founded in 2014 by then 7-year-old Shane McColgan after he questioned why families in his community went without food. The pantry officially opened its doors in December 2016 and now serves nearly 1,800 families from Carver and surrounding areas. Operating strictly on donations from residents, local businesses, and farmers, Shane Gives Thanks Inc provides critical food assistance to people experiencing food insecurity.
