The Open Door

The Open Door is a nonprofit food resource center located at 28 Emerson Avenue in Gloucester, Massachusetts, dedicated to alleviating hunger across 11 North Shore communities. The organization operates multiple food pantries and mobile markets offering free fresh produce, dairy, and protein to underserved neighborhoods, and in 2025 distributed 2.48 million pounds of food to 12,780 people.
