Hanover Food Pantry

The Hanover Food Pantry has been helping families in need since 1992, providing a 3-5 day supply of non-perishable food, groceries, household supplies, and personal care items to Hanover residents and church parishioners. The pantry is operated by volunteers from five participating churches, the Hanover Woman's Club, Juniors, and town citizens, and moved into the Sylvester School building in fall 2021, where it now operates with a gathering room and a book sharing area for clients. In addition to weekly food distribution, the pantry cultivates fresh vegetables and herbs in raised garden beds during growing season and accepts monetary donations from local businesses and families to support its mission.
