Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, founded in 1982, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing hunger and food insecurity across Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties. Located in Hatfield, the food bank collects, stores, and distributes food to over 400 member agencies including soup kitchens, food pantries, homeless shelters, and childcare centers, reaching more than 110,000 people annually. The organization rescues food from the food industry and distributes fresh produce, USDA commodities, and other nutritious items while offering programs such as SNAP assistance and Brown Bag services for seniors.
