Bread & Roses Emergency Food Pantry

Bread & Roses Emergency Food Pantry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1980, is a community kitchen and pantry serving the Merrimack Valley with a mission to address food insecurity and promote self-empowerment. The organization provides three days' worth of food for entire households, along with packaged foods, ready-to-cook meals, and other essential items including diapers, toiletries, and blankets. Beyond its emergency pantry services, Bread & Roses operates as the longest-serving community kitchen in Lawrence and Massachusetts, offering evening meals, case management, community food outreach, and walk-in health services to those in need.
