Open Pantry of Greater Lowell

The Open Pantry of Greater Lowell is a nonprofit organization that provides food assistance to individuals and families in need throughout the Greater Lowell area. Established in 1981 as the first food pantry in Lowell, this tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization serves residents of Lowell and seven surrounding communities including Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, Westford, and Wilmington. The pantry provides eligible clients with a standard order of food monthly, along with emergency assistance options, while welcoming those in need without discrimination based on race, creed, or country of origin.
