Berkshire Food Project

Since 1987, the Berkshire Food Project has been a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger, food insecurity, and social isolation in North Adams by serving hot, nutritious meals prepared from scratch. Founded by Williams College students, the organization operates with a small paid staff supplemented by community volunteers and has grown to serve approximately 40,000 meals annually while also connecting individuals to additional social services and operating distribution partnerships across Northern Berkshire County.
