SSCAC’S Food Distribution Center

SSCAC's Food Distribution Center serves as the hub for South Shore Community Action Council, a private nonprofit founded in 1965 that works to eliminate poverty and hunger on the South Shore. The center collects, sorts, and distributes hundreds of thousands of pounds of fresh and non-perishable food each year to over 60 emergency food assistance providers throughout Plymouth County, which then deliver the food to food-insecure residents in their communities.
