Bridge Fridge (The Port, Cambridge)

Bridge Fridge is a community-operated mutual aid fridge located at the Goree Freedom House in Cambridge's Port neighborhood, organized by Community For Us, By Us, a collective of Black and Brown youth dedicated to addressing food insecurity. The fridge operates on the principle of solidarity rather than charity, allowing anyone to take what they need and contribute food, supported by volunteers and grants from the Cambridge Community Foundation.
