Winthrop Community Food Pantry

About

The Winthrop Community Food Pantry is a supplemental food source for Winthrop residents who meet USDA income and family size qualifications, with operations supported by volunteers from faith and civic communities throughout the town. Founded in 1988 as a parish ministry of St. John’s Episcopal Church, the pantry has grown from its modest beginnings to serve a significantly larger population with distributed food designed to provide 2-3 days of nutrition.
