Orthodox Food Center – St Spyridon Cathedral

The Orthodox Food Center is a nonprofit organization located at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral that provides emergency food assistance to Worcester residents, with support from the Council of Eastern Orthodox Churches of Central Massachusetts. The center fills a critical need by distributing food to nearly 200 households each month during weekends when traditional social service agencies are closed, and operates through collaboration between volunteers from St. Spyridon and other Orthodox churches throughout Central Massachusetts.
