Food Gatherers

Food Gatherers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank and food rescue program serving Washtenaw County since 1988, founded by Zingerman's Delicatessen as Michigan's first food rescue program. The organization distributes millions of pounds of food through a network of over 140 community partners to support low-income adults, children, and families, while also operating the Community Kitchen at the Robert J. Delonis Center and offering programs including produce box distributions, nutrition education, and school pantry initiatives to address food insecurity and its root causes.
