Emergency Food Closet – Belleville First United Methodist Church

The Emergency Food Closet, operated by Belleville First United Methodist Church, has been serving the communities of Sumpter and Van Buren Townships and the City of Belleville since before 1983. This nonprofit food pantry provides nutritious food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity, including those who have lost employment, are dealing with illness or injury, seniors, veterans, and disabled individuals with insufficient income. The pantry welcomes anyone in need and ensures that everyone receives food on their first visit, with no one ever turned away.
