Hospitality House Food Pantry

Hospitality House Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization in Commerce Township, Michigan founded in 2002 with a mission to minimize deprivation in the community by providing food and assistance to those in need while maintaining respect for individual dignity. Operating as a client-choice food pantry, the organization serves an average of 900 households monthly and distributes over 100,000 pounds of food, while also operating a Weekend Food Program for students in local school districts to address weekend hunger. In 2024, Hospitality House distributed 1.2 million pounds of food to over 5,000 people and provides referral services and advisory support to other food pantries throughout southeastern Michigan.
