Caritas Food Pantry at St. Mary’s Catholic Church

Caritas Food Pantry at St. Mary's Catholic Church is a nonprofit food assistance program that has served Mason County and surrounding areas since 2006. Originally founded by Richard and Shirley Petroski, the pantry began at St. Jerome's Church in Scottville before relocating to its current location at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Custer. The pantry provides free food to low-income families and individuals, offering essential items including fresh produce, meat, eggs, and staple foods to support healthy diets and reduce hunger in Mason, Lake, and Manistee counties.
