South Flint Soup Kitchen is a nonprofit charitable organization operating from Lincoln Park United Methodist Church in Flint that provides free meals and serves as a resource center for those experiencing food insecurity. The organization, which formally opened on January 11, 2011, after beginning informally in 2010, is now operated by Asbury Community Development Corporation and also hosts bimonthly food giveaways and clothing distribution through its Angel Closet program.
