Community Food Club
About
Community Food Club is a nonprofit, member-based grocery store located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, serving low-income households throughout Kent County. Founded in 2015 as Michigan’s first food club, the organization helps members improve their food security and access to healthy foods through an affordable membership model where participants pay $11–$15 monthly and receive 9–11 days’ worth of groceries in return. The Food Club currently serves over 2,200 households and approximately 17,000 people annually, using a pricing structure that incentivizes healthy choices by offering fresh produce at the lowest prices while working with food banks and local producers.
