Kentwood Little Free Pantry

Kentwood Little Free Pantry is a community food assistance program operated by the City of Kentwood that began in 2017 as a Martin Luther King Jr. Day community service initiative to address local food insecurity. The pantry provides nonperishable food and personal care items to all community members in need with no application required. Operating at two locations including the Kentwood Activities Center, the pantry is funded through community donations and has expanded significantly as demand has grown, with residents and local organizations supporting the initiative through food drives and financial contributions.
