Food Pantry at The Good Samaritans of Eastern Michigan Building

The Good Samaritans of Eastern Michigan is a nonprofit food pantry located in Lapeer that provides food, clothing, household goods, and other necessities to the community. Founded by Donna Ruppert who began distributing food from her front lawn when she recognized that people were hungry every week, the organization has grown to operate from its own building and now serves clients with a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, breads, dairy products, and other items with no invasive questions or qualifications required.
