Little River Band Of Ottawa — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) provides commodity foods including fresh and canned vegetables, frozen meats, breakfast cereals, cheese, and butter to low-income households living on or near Indian reservations in the Manistee area. The program is administered locally by the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a federally recognized Native American tribe based in Manistee, Michigan, and serves as an alternative to traditional food assistance programs for households with limited access to food stamp offices and authorized retailers.
