Saline Area Social Service Food Pantry

Saline Area Social Service is a nonprofit organization founded in 1961 to serve community members in need within the Saline area. Operating a comprehensive food pantry as their primary service, SASS provides fresh produce, dairy products, canned goods, baked items, prepared meals, and meats to food-insecure families and individuals, with volunteers supporting clients in selecting nutritious items that enable up to 15 meals per week. In addition to emergency food assistance, the organization helps with rent, utilities, prescriptions, and clothing, while also operating seasonal holiday meal programs and maintaining strong community support through donations and volunteer engagement.
