Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan

Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan, a program of Goodwill Northern Michigan, rescues, harvests, repacks, and distributes nearly two million pounds of food annually to over 70 food pantries and community meal sites across a five-county area in Northwest Michigan. The organization partners with 185 local entities and the Northwest Food Coalition to ensure equitable access to nutritious food, with a significant portion being fresh and frozen produce. In addition to food distribution, Food Rescue operates the Good Meals program, which provides thousands of meals annually to community services including Meals on Wheels and the Goodwill Inn.
