Welcome Pantry

Welcome Pantry is a client-choice food pantry operated by the United Way of Freeborn County in Albert Lea. Launched in 2022 as a mobile food pantry to address food insecurity and reduce the stigma associated with traditional food shelves, it now operates out of a brick-and-mortar location. The pantry serves residents of Minnesota with household incomes below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines and welcomes shoppers to visit multiple times per month.
