ANNANDALE FOOD SHELF

The Annandale Food Shelf is a nonprofit organization established in 1983 that provides groceries and personal hygiene items to residents of Annandale, Maple Lake, and South Haven, Minnesota. Operated entirely by volunteers with a board of directors, the organization distributes approximately 25 pounds of food per person monthly to individuals and families experiencing temporary financial hardship, and has never interrupted service due to lack of resources. Funded exclusively through community donations from citizens, businesses, churches, and organizations with zero administrative costs, the Annandale Food Shelf serves as a vital safety net for unemployed workers, wage earners facing unexpected circumstances, and seniors in their service area.
