Community Table – Bemidji, MN

Community Table, formerly known as Bemidji Community Soup Kitchen, is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit organization in Bemidji, Minnesota that provides free hot meals four nights a week to anyone in need with no questions asked. Operating since the 1980s and serving nearly 15,000 meals annually, the organization operates out of Mt. Zion Church on Mondays and Tuesdays and United Methodist Church on Wednesdays and Thursdays, emphasizing an “open table” concept that welcomes all community members seeking fellowship and nourishment. The organization is supported by federal funding, the North Country Food Bank, private donations, and United Way grants, with volunteer-led operations serving 50-120 guests each evening.
