Peoples Church

Peoples Church is a multicultural congregation affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) located at 824 America Avenue Northwest in Bemidji, Minnesota. For nearly 30 years, the organization has served the community by providing year-round overnight emergency shelter, free breakfast seven days a week, worship services, and community programming for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and living in poverty. Recently renovated with over $800,000 in improvements funded by grants from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, the church now offers 24 overnight shelter beds along with an activity center, dining area, and community room that hosts beading classes, recovery groups, and other evening programming.
