Lakes Area United Way

Lakes Area United Way is a nonprofit organization based in Brainerd, Minnesota, that mobilizes community resources to improve lives in Crow Wing, Cass, and Aitkin Counties. Founded in 1969 by Penny Johnson, the organization focuses on education, health, and financial stability as the building blocks for a good life, uniting donors, volunteers, community leaders, and businesses to address community needs and advance the common good.
