Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen

Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen is a nonprofit Christian organization located at 923 Oak Street in Brainerd, Minnesota that has served the Brainerd Lakes Area community since 1987. Founded at St. Francis Church, the organization evolved into an independent nonprofit and relocated to its current home at Temple Baptist Church in 1997 after facing closure. The soup kitchen provides free daily meals to anyone in need—served Monday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.—as well as breakfast and lunch bags for the homeless community, operating entirely through donations and volunteers with a mission to demonstrate the love of Christ by feeding the hungry.
