Second Harvest Heartland

Second Harvest Heartland, located at 7101 Winnetka Avenue N in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, is a leading hunger-relief nonprofit organization that has been serving the community since receiving tax-exempt status in 1974. In partnership with more than 1,000 food shelves and hunger-relief programs across Minnesota and western Wisconsin, the organization distributed nearly 128 million meals last year while also helping families enroll in food assistance programs and providing prepared meals to those in need. Second Harvest Heartland serves as a convener and advocate in hunger-related policy discussions with an ambitious goal to cut hunger in half for all Minnesotans by 2030.
