Chisholm Food Shelf

The Chisholm Food Shelf is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in northeastern Minnesota, serving the communities of Chisholm, Buhl, Kinney, Balkan, Side Lake, and Hibbing. Located at 208 W Lake Street in Chisholm, the food shelf distributes free groceries and household essentials to families and individuals in need, providing a three to five day supply of food up to once per month through on-site distribution and mobile routes to surrounding areas. In 2024, the organization distributed over 152,000 pounds of food to nearly 8,000 individuals across 3,000 households.
