NEAR Food Shelf

NEAR Food Shelf is a nonprofit volunteer-led organization serving Crystal, New Hope, and Robbinsdale since 1974, when it was founded by a collaboration of four area churches to address growing food insecurity in the community. The organization provides nutritious food assistance to families and individuals in need through a Shoppers Choice Model that allows clients to select the food they want. NEAR's mission is to ensure equitable access to food and promote the well-being of residents facing food insecurity in the surrounding area.
