Community Café – Food Distribution Center

Community Café in Deer River, Minnesota serves free nutritious meals to children, elderly, low-income families, and people with disabilities, providing not only food but also a sense of social connection and community. Operating Monday through Thursday from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at King Elementary School, the nonprofit organization serves approximately 2,000 meals per month in Deer River while also serving over 800 patrons per week across both their Deer River and Grand Rapids locations. The Café welcomes everyone with no income restrictions, accepts donations, and supports local youth programs and school initiatives throughout the Itasca County area.
