Lakes Crisis & Resource Center

Lakes Crisis & Resource Center is a nonprofit community advocacy program located at 1339 Pelican Lane in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, dedicated to promoting safety, hope, and healing through advocacy, intervention, and education. The organization provides direct services to men and women who have experienced domestic violence, abused children, and victims of sexual assault and general crimes, while also operating a shelter for women and children, a parenting time center, youth mentoring program (Kinship), mental health services, and support groups. A 24-hour crisis hotline is available at 218-847-7446 to serve residents across Becker, Norman, and Mahnomen counties.
